Netflix anniversary

I’ve been a member of Netflix for nearly five years now! As I near this special anniversary I thought I would run down some of the stats:

  • Opened account: June 2000
  • Total paid: $1,076.04
  • Total saved*: $739.96
  • Movies rented: 454
  • First rental: The Astronaut’s Wife (1999)
  • First rental rating: 1 of 5 stars
  • Current # of movies rated: 315
  • Friends recruited: 2 or 3 (1 currently active)

Just thought that would be a fun little run down of my Netflix history. I really like Netflix, and consider it a staple product in my budget. I might just dump water and gas before I gave up my Netflix ;)

*Notes: total saved based on a rough $4 estimate per movie from Blockbuster.
