Things that need to be fixed in the iPhone

Here is my list of the things that need to be fixed in the iPhone 3G software.

OS

  • Add ability to copy and paste text, URLs, etc.
  • Add ability to keep Google Talk/GPS Tracker/etc open in the background.
  • Add support for recording movies and sending them via MMS.

Calendar

  • Add ability to create custom repeats for events. (ie: Every 2nd Friday of the month)
  • Add ability to one click and get a map from the address in the location field of an event.

Phone

  • Add ability to edit contacts when viewed from Favorites or Recents screen.
  • Give me an option other than AT&T.

SMS

  • Add character count when sending SMS message.
  • Add support for sending and receiving picture messages.

Safari

  • Add ability for plugins, especially 1password, to integrate themselves with Safari.
  • Add Flash support, including video/audio streaming.
